1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, portfolio links, profile photo), information generated through use of the Platform (messages, project data, payment records), and usage data (pages visited, device type, IP address).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the Platform, facilitate transactions, communicate with you about your account, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sharing Your Information
We share your information with other users as necessary to facilitate projects (e.g., your display name and portfolio are visible to clients). We share data with service providers (Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage) who are bound by data processing agreements.
4. Creator Public Profiles
If you are an approved creator and have enabled a public profile, your display name, kapture_tag, portfolio, bio, location, and availability will be publicly visible at kapturethat.media/[username]. You can disable your public profile at any time in Account Settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (managed by Supabase). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@kapturethat.media. Users in the UAE are entitled to rights under Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption and row-level security in our database. No system is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password.
9. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on the Platform.
